Dr. Cathleen Swody is a highly accomplished and experienced organizational psychologist with nearly two decades of expertise in coaching, training, and talent development. She has helped numerous leaders set meaningful goals and seize growth opportunities. With her invaluable insights and practical solutions, Cathleen has enabled her clients to reality-check assumptions, achieve lasting behavior changes, and become more skillful and confident in navigating challenging situations. Cathleen has a proven track record of building strong relationships with senior leaders and delivering results that meet business needs.
She is a co-author of The Leadership Continuum, and her expertise has been featured in top publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Bloomberg, and Fast Company. Before founding Foster Talent Consulting, Cathleen co-founded Thrive Leadership and worked with Leadership Research Institute and SBC Communications (now AT&T). She holds a Ph.D. and Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
Cathleen is deeply passionate about professional growth and development, and has served on the faculty of the University of Connecticut, where she taught graduate courses on leadership and relationship management.
